Have a hot dog lunch after the parade and then tour the museum! Lunch is a fundraiser for the museum, but touring the museum is free. Museum is open until 2PM.

Have dinner at Culver's, 2925 N. Rock Road in Derby, on Wednesday, July 8 from 5 to 8 PM, and help Derby Historical Museum! 10% of all sales during the event as well as 100% of all tips will be donated to the Derby Historical Museum & Society.

Pricilla Howe, professional storyteller and author, talks about the history of folklore, games, rhymes, and legends. Should the legends you heard as a child be passed on? This program is part of Humanities Kansas Speakers Bureau. Free admission.
Marla Day, curator of KSU Historic Costume and Textile Museum in Manhattan, will speak about ways to preserve different fabrics. Easily carried items may be brought to the session for examination and information. Free admission.
Homemade ice cream by the scoop! Choice of flavors while the ice cream lasts. A fundraiser for the museum. There will also be information and demonstrations. Enjoy the ice cream, then tour the museum. Free museum admission.
